ATTENTION - We suggest everyone to take the VACCINATION against YELLOW FEVER! The exchange student will have to take the vaccine against the Yellow Fever, at least 10 (ten) days prior to the trip (in case the student hasnt taken it yet in his/her life). Students in exchange in Paraguay must travel with the International Certificate of Vaccination.

We will visit Brazils capital, Brasília, to explore this planned city, built and inaugurated in the 1950s, and learn about Brazils government. Get ready for a real lesson in politics.

We will also go to Chapada Diamantina, one of the most exotic regions of Brazil, boasting deep canyons, caves, mountains, breath-taking waterfalls, natural waterslides and the historic town of Lençóis, capital of early Brazilian diamond exploration.

Then, it is time to hit the beach! Beautiful beaches with crystalline and warm waters, endless coconut groves and awesome sand dunes help to make this area a memorable travellers paradise. For those interested in history, the areas colonial churches and museums will lead you to the doorstep of Brazils earliest and most fascinating history.

Be prepared to learn the northeasts different dances, such as forró, frevo, the famous samba-reggae, Lambada, axé and capoeira.

Finally, you will visit the Wonderful City, famous for its natural beauty, its carnival and samba: Rio de Janeiro! There you will visit Cristo Redentor (Corcovado the Christ Statue), Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf) and some of the famous beaches. We will finish the trip exploring the beautiful beaches of Rio de Janeiro state coast and get to know some of its paradisiacal islands.
