What should I bring?

YOU MUST BRING TO THE TOUR:

1.RNE (Foreign Brazilian ID)*
*Exclusive for exchange students in exchange in Brazil: we ask you to leave your passaport safe at home and travel with your RNE. ATTENTION: The RNE protocol and the passport copy/xerox are not accepted in any circumstance. In case you are in exchange in another country or do not have an RNE, bring your passport (original)!

2. Find below a list of all items (clothes and personal belongs) you should bring along. Mark each one once you put them inside your bag:

Luggage: The luggage should be as small as possible (15kg / 33lb maximum) because you have to carry it and be responsible for it all the time.

Checked Luggage: You should inquire about the airlines luggage transport policy that will use (if that is the case). We suggest all to respect the following dimensions: 50cm length, 28cm wide and 80cm height. Hand Luggage: Limitation of 10kg. Respecting the following dimensions: 55cm height, 35cm wide and 25cm depth. Weight or dimensions superior to those are subject of extra charge.

  • Bathing suit;
  • Cell Phone (if you don't have one you will need: Alarm clock)
  • Cash (we suggest around R$250,00 for extra meals);
  • Socks;
  • Deodorant*;
  • Hand bag (remember you will receive a backpack from Terra Brasil at your first trip with us);
  • Hat/Cap (You will get one hat from Terra Brasil Turismo);
  • Luggage padlock;
  • Medicine you might take (cramps, nausea, allergies, among others);
  • Pants (at least two pairs, one of them old and comfortable for the Jungle Survival Course);
  • Photo Camera;
  • Plastic bag for your dirty clothes;
  • Raincoat;
  • Repellent*;
  • Sandals;
  • Shampoo/hair conditioner*;
  • Shaving accessories*;
  • Shorts;
  • Soap*;
  • Student ID Card;
  • Sun block*;
  • Tennis shoes (minimum 2 pairs);
  • Toothpaste* and toothbrush;
  • Towel;
  • T-shirts;
  • Underwear;
  • Lots of enthusiasm!
  • *ATTENTION: We strongly suggest everyone to invest at BIODEGRADABLE hygiene and cosmetic products (which will decompose without damage to nature). In particular, biodegradable shampoos, hair conditioners and soaps that after use will disintegrate into particles absorbed by the environment in a short time causing less damage.


WE SUGGEST YOU TO TAKE:

  • Flashlight
  • Musical instrument you can play;
  • Sunglasses;
  • Songs you like;
  • Pins and cards to be traded with friends;
  • Watertight or plastic bag for electronics.

WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT BRING:

  • Rotary Blazer;
  • Jewelry;
  • A lot of luggage;
  • Too much money;
  • Notebook/laptop;
  • Bad temper.

ATTENTION - This trip requires VACCINATION against YELLOW FEVER! The exchange student will have to take the vaccine against the Yellow Fever, at least 10 (ten) days prior to the trip (in case the student hasnt taken it yet in his/her life). Students in exchange in Paraguay must travel with the International Certificate of Vaccination.
