What should I bring?

YOU MUST BRING TO THE TOUR:

1.RNE (Foreign Brazilian ID)*
*Exclusive for exchange students in exchange in Brazil: we ask you to leave your passaport safe at home and travel with your RNE. ATTENTION: The RNE protocol and the passport copy/xerox are not accepted in any circumstance. In case you are in exchange in another country or do not have an RNE, bring your passport (original)!

2. Find below a list of all items (clothes and personal belongs) you should bring along. Mark each one once you put them inside your bag:

Luggage: The luggage should be as small as possible (15 kg / 33lb maximum) because you have to carry it and be responsible for it all the time.

Checked Luggage: You should inquire about the airlines luggage transport policy that will use (if that is the case). We suggest all to respect the following dimensions: 50cm length, 28cm wide and 80cm height.
Hand Luggage: Limitation of 10kg. Respecting the following dimensions: 55cm height, 35cm wide and 25cm depth. Weight or dimensions superior to those are subject of extra charge.

  • Bathing suit;
  • Cash** for meals (R$300) and personal expenses;
  • Clothes to go out at night (for discos and night programs);
  • Cotton socks;
  • Deodorant;
  • Extra Batteries;
  • Hat/Cap;
  • Medicine you take regularly (cramps, nausea, allergies, among others);
  • Jeans pants (maximum of 1);
  • Photo Camera;
  • Plastic bag for your dirty clothes;
  • Raincoat;
  • Sandals (it will be your main footwear);
  • Shampoo/hair conditioner;
  • Shaving accessories;
  • Shorts (minimum of 3);
  • Student's ID Card;
  • Sun block;
  • Tennis shoes;
  • Tooth paste and tooth brush;
  • Towel for the beach;
  • T-shirts;
  • Underwear;
  • Lots of enthusiasm!

** Cash money: Exchange students living outside Brazil must travel with a comfort amount of national money - REAL - for the first days of the trip. Therefore it is necessary to exchange money in advance before traveling.


WE SUGGEST YOU TO TAKE:

  • Musical instrument you can play;
  • Songs you like;
  • Sunglasses;
  • Pins and cards to be traded with friends;
  • Repellent;
  • Typical items from your native country and everything else you might need for the talent show.


WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT BRING:

  • Rotary Blazer;
  • Jewelry;
  • A lot of luggage;
  • Too much money;
  • Notebook/laptop;
  • Bad temper.


ATTENTION - We suggest everyone to take the VACCINATION against YELLOW FEVER! The exchange student will have to take the vaccine against the Yellow Fever, at least 10 (ten) days prior to the trip (in case the student hasnt taken it yet in his/her life). Students in exchange in Paraguay must travel with the International Certificate of Vaccination.
